Research
My research is in partial differential equations. I am interested in understanding how linear and nonlinear waves are affected by background geometry. Many of the questions I study are motivated by general relativity. My work utilizes techniques in microlocal analysis and spectral theory
Teaching
I have taught undergraduate courses at Northwestern University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have been an invited TA and lecturer for informal graduate education such as workshops and boot camps.
Outreach
In 2016 I co-founded Girls Talk Math, a free summer day camp for high school students hosted annually at UNC-Chapel Hill, with then Ph.D. candidate Francesca Bernardi. The camp expanded ot the University of Maryland in 2018 and Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2022.
